M-36 Rotary has revived an annual summer activity in Pinckney that has been missing for several years: “Hootin’ In the Park”.

Hootin’ is a series of free concerts performed from the gazebo in Putnum Town Square, the small park in the center of the village of Pinckney, Mich.

In the past this event consisted of a series of 6 concerts through the months of July and August. Performers included local musicians and bands, with “open mic” opportunities as well. Food, drinks, and popcorn were served.

As M-36 brings this community event back we are beginning this summer with 3 concerts spread over July and August evenings.  Food will be available through a local hot dog vendor also offering drinks.

M-36 is pleased to present to the community:

            Jarrett Cogswell           July 22

            JJ Rover                       August 5

            Ore Creek Project        August 19

Plans are already underway for an expanded concert series for summer 2022, and we will be looking for additional local talent.

Our sincere thanks goes to Lavey Insurance in Pinckney for sponsoring M-36’s initial concerts this summer.
